Case Study: Electrolux achieves 11.9% net price uplift and fewer customer complaints with Vendavo PricePoint

A Vendavo Case Study

How Vendavo helped appliance giant Electrolux increase profitability

Electrolux, a global leader in consumer and professional appliances, faced a complex pricing challenge across 29 European markets managing some 600,000 spare parts (around 17 million price points). Historically each market set cost-based prices independently, producing misaligned prices, customer complaints and cross-border trade risks as retail channels consolidated—prompting the need for a common, value-based pricing approach.

Electrolux built a central spare-parts pricing team, classified parts into families and implemented Vendavo® PricePoint™ to assign International List Prices with locally adjusted levels. The centralized, dashboard-driven process (about 45 minutes per new part) shifted local teams from administration to sales and delivered strong results: a 6.5% net price effect in year one and a further 5.4% in year two, higher sales and profitability, far fewer complaints and nearly eliminated cross-border trade.
