Dynapac, a global leader in soil compaction and paving equipment based in Wardenburg, Germany, sought to modernize worldwide pricing and quoting for its aftermarket parts and complex capital equipment. The company needed to centrally manage pricing, eliminate unnecessary discounts and lengthy special-price approvals, and speed up configuration and quoting for expensive, highly configurable machines.
Working with Vendavo, Dynapac implemented Vendavo Pricepoint and Intelligent CPQ to centralize pricing for more than 70,000 SKUs, standardize policies, and automate approvals. The changes cut special pricing approvals by 90%, improved pricing consistency and margins, and are expected to halve quote times—enabling faster, more accurate proposals and better responsiveness to market dynamics.
