Pacira Explores Commercial and Regulatory Connection to Streamline Promotional Material Submissions

Pacira needed to streamline its promotional material submission process and improve cross-functional collaboration between commercial, medical, legal, and regulatory teams. To replace paper- and email-based workflows and support a secure, 21 CFR Part 11-compliant process, Pacira turned to Veeva Systems, using Veeva PromoMats along with Veeva RIM and related submission tools.

Veeva Systems helped Pacira create a fully electronic, integrated workflow for promotional and regulatory submissions, including auto-generation of Form 2253, claims linking, XML creation, and direct publishing to OPDP. The result was a faster, more seamless end-to-end process that reduced manual effort, cut hours from submission work, and helped Pacira move to an electronic OPDP submission process a full year ahead of the FDA deadline.
