Nestlé’s Nutrition and Health Science Divisions moved to modernize their global medical field force to improve the quality, efficiency and regulatory agility of interactions with healthcare professionals. Facing a rapidly evolving life‑sciences environment, the company sought a CRM built for the industry that would support mobile, multi‑channel engagement and provide better visibility into field activities.

Nestlé deployed cloud‑based Veeva CRM with iRep on the iPad to mobilize medical, marketing and communications teams, track detailing content and measure HCP response in real time. The life‑science‑specific, multitenant solution delivered faster deployment, higher rep adoption and actionable customer insights—reaching about 1,500 users (with 600 more planned in April 2014) and expected to scale to ~4,000 users across 20+ markets by 2015, improving engagement effectiveness and responsiveness.
