Novo Nordisk, the Danish biopharma company, needed a way to scale content production as its pipeline grew without increasing costs or slowing down an already cumbersome review process. Working with Veeva Systems and using Veeva PromoMats, the company set out to improve commercialization content creation, reuse, and collaboration across its global and local teams and 1,500 agencies.
Veeva Systems helped Novo Nordisk implement a modular content approach in Veeva PromoMats, allowing approved content elements to be reused without full re-review. The results were significant: asset creation time dropped from 104 days to 23, review time became 4x faster, content output increased 5x to 31,000 assets, and reuse rose to 40%, driving 60% cost avoidance through insourcing and giving the company full visibility into content performance.
