GSK, a global biopharma with 90,000+ employees and more than 100,000 Veeva Vault users across clinical, quality, and regulatory functions, faced a fragmented digital transformation: decisions and communications were largely made at individual Vault levels, creating inconsistent training, duplicate outreach, and a poor end-user experience as the company rolled out a unified Veeva Development Cloud.
To address this, GSK established a Veeva center of excellence with six working groups and named product owners to consolidate training, communications, and platform governance. The team now prioritizes configurable releases by business value and integration ease, measures usability and NPS regularly, and is implementing role-based access and a shared incident model—yielding clearer release management, stronger coordination with Veeva, and a more consistent, user-centric platform experience.
