Almac Clinical Services, a global CDMO based in Armagh, Northern Ireland with roughly 3,000 employees, needed to unify fragmented quality processes across internal teams, suppliers, and pharma customers. Multiple disconnected systems and manual workflows made it hard to get real-time visibility, trend quality events, and collaborate efficiently across partners.

The company implemented Veeva Vault QMS, using features for external collaboration and temporary partner accounts to invite suppliers and customers into specific workflows without heavy provisioning. The new system replaced email, paper, and spreadsheets, streamlined audits and supplier responses, improved data integrity and visibility, reduced manual administration, and is being extended to deviations, complaints, and CAPAs.
