Case Study: UPC Hungary boosts over-the-phone payments with VCC Live Pay

A VCC Live Case Study

Preview of the UPC Hungary Case Study

Accelerating UPC Hungary’s collections process with over-the-phone payment

UPC Hungary, now Vodafone Hungary, is the country’s largest provider of telecommunications, broadband, and TV services. The company needed a more efficient way to manage overdue payments, reduce repeated customer follow-ups, and ease the heavy workload on agents. VCC Live helped address these challenges with its cloud contact center solution and VCC Live Pay.

VCC Live implemented its PCI DSS-certified VCC Live Pay within UPC Hungary’s existing contact center setup, enabling secure over-the-phone card payments during live calls and optional payment links via SMS or email. This streamlined the collections process into a single interaction and required no additional major implementation effort. As a result, 43% of payments were handled over the phone within a year, the Promise Kept Rate improved, and customer trust increased.
