Sephora, the global beauty retailer owned by LVMH with 2,300+ stores worldwide, faced poor accuracy and limited insights from legacy beam sensors used to count footfall in its Turkish stores. During a major 2017 renovation phase the retailer partnered with V-Count to replace the outdated technology with V-Count’s visitor analytics solution, deploying 3D Alpha+ people-counting devices to improve measurement accuracy and operational visibility.

V-Count completed the 3D Alpha+ installations across Sephora’s stores within the tight renovation timeline and enabled the retailer to use real-time footfall and behavior data to optimize operations and merchandising. By acting on the insights from V-Count’s devices Sephora gained clearer visibility into store performance, improved accuracy over previous sensors and significantly increased conversion rates.
