Samsung needed a reliable way to count and understand store traffic across Turkey, cross-reference visits with sales to accurately project conversion rates, and compare store performance, marketing impact and employee productivity. To meet this challenge they partnered with V-Count, deploying its people-counting and retail analytics solution — including 3D Alpha+ sensors and Heatmap devices — across their retail estate.

V-Count implemented its cloud-based business intelligence platform and installed 150+ devices (3D Alpha+ and Heatmap) in about 70 Samsung stores, plus the EMAAR Mall experience center, enabling real-time occupancy, dwell-time and zone-traffic insight and optimized staffing. The V-Count solution delivers ~98% counting accuracy and helped Samsung raise in-store conversion rates by more than 5% since January 2017, improving customer service, store productivity and profitability.
