USU Solutions worked with USA County School System, a large K-12 public education organization managing 110,000 student endpoints, 14,000 teacher endpoints, and 1,700 servers. The school system’s SAM team needed to address weaknesses in its data center, improve IBM license management across a complex contract with more than 100 SKUs, and assess options for moving more workloads and licensing to the cloud.

USU Solutions delivered a Software Asset Management health check and platform upgrade, reviewing connectors, product catalog data, and feeds on site while supporting compliance and integration for IBM, Microsoft, and Adobe. The work improved automation and reduced manual maintenance, strengthened IBM server compliance tracking and financial risk visibility, and enabled Office 365 and Creative Cloud integration to help the customer evaluate subscription usage and optimize cloud-based contracts.
