Successful Oracle compliance & contract analysis for French healthcare public sector

CAIH, the Centrale d’Achats Informatiques des Hôpitaux in the French healthcare public sector, needed to evaluate Oracle licensing across its member hospitals as it prepared to negotiate a new Unlimited License Agreement (ULA). USU Solutions helped the customer assess Oracle compliance and understand each hospital’s usage, so CAIH could define its renewal strategy and support local decisions.

USU Solutions performed Oracle license compliance analyses as a managed service using USU Software Asset Management, including inventory of database usage, deployments, options, packages, and VMware-related issues. The project gave CAIH and its member hospitals detailed compliance reporting and clearer visibility into their Oracle estate, uncovering millions of Euros in accidental non-compliance and helping them optimize licenses and negotiate more effectively.
