Mainova automates IT services with USU IT Service Management

Mainova AG, one of the largest regional German energy suppliers, needed a more holistic, transparent, and largely automated IT service management solution because its existing help desk could no longer meet rising requirements. The company wanted a professional, integrated SaaS-based ITSM platform with strong asset management and a service shop to speed up IT services and support additional processes.

USU Solutions implemented USU IT Service Management, including incident and service request management, a service catalog based on CMDB data, and integration with the Flowster automation platform. The result was a highly standardized and automated service shop with around 1,800 service offerings, faster processing of tens of thousands of requests, and more than 180,000 automated software and hardware orders in 36 months, helping Mainova cut errors, reduce manual work, and improve IT team productivity.
