Leipziger Stadtwerke, the municipal utility company, wanted to evolve from a traditional provider into a multi-service digital services company while making offerings like submetering and e-mobility easier, more personalized, and more automated. To support this transformation, it needed a central service management platform and the integration of 15 third-party IT systems with its existing landscape, which led it to choose USU Solutions and USU Enterprise Service Management.

USU Solutions implemented a cloud/SaaS service management solution that digitized and automated the full process chain for submetering and e-mobility, from portal registration and offer generation to billing and service handling. The platform went live after six months and quickly delivered measurable results, including more than 1,500 registered e-mobility customers in two months, 600 automatically generated offers per month, 20 digitized service processes, and 28,000 service tickets handled annually, while also enabling faster rollout of additional services and stronger customer loyalty.
