Fresenius Digital Technology worked with USU Solutions to improve group-wide software asset management across a decentralized IT environment. The company needed better transparency, automation, and control over IT assets, since many devices could not be accessed automatically and data collection across physical and virtual systems was mostly manual and only provided a snapshot view.

USU Solutions implemented its Software Asset Management approach with USU License Management, USU Discovery, USU SAM Analytics, and Optimization for SAP, in collaboration with Raynet and HiSolutions. The result was much higher automation, better data quality and coverage, and individual KPI reporting for internal customers; manual processes were reduced by 50%, cutting effort and costs while improving efficiency.
