Sharegate is a Montreal-based B2B software company (120 employees) that helps over 10,000 organizations move to and manage SharePoint and Office 365. Customer-facing teams—support, sales, and success—were collecting product feedback in spreadsheets and email, creating a messy, siloed process that left Product without the data needed to prioritize requests and left frontline teams feeling sidelined.
By adopting UserVoice (including the Contributor Sidebar and Zendesk/Salesforce integrations), Sharegate centralized feedback capture where customers were already communicating, enriched ideas with account, recency, and revenue data, and established a monthly, customer-backed prioritization process. The result: stronger alignment between Product and customer teams, better data-driven backlog grooming, and roughly 40 user-supported product ideas added to the roadmap in the first year.
