Everypaw Pet Insurance, a provider of pet insurance in the UK, sought to increase its market share with a new television advertising campaign. The challenge was to ensure the ad would be highly effective against competitors and unlock budget for future marketing efforts. To achieve this, they used the UserTesting Human Insight Platform to evaluate and refine their commercial before it aired.
Using UserTesting, the Everypaw team conducted A/B tests on various elements of their ad, including music, voiceover messaging, and the call-to-action screen. The tests provided clear customer preferences, settling internal debates and revealing that an emphasis on 24/7 veterinary access resonated most. The resulting campaign generated an 85% increase in engagement, with twice the number of people starting a quote online within five minutes of the ad airing, successfully increasing Everypaw's market share.
