A UserTesting Case Study
Tealium turned to UserTesting to improve a product experience that was creating confusion in navigation, findability, and overall information architecture. Using UserTesting’s moderated and unmoderated research tools, Tealium compared prototype menu designs and evaluated how users perceived the updated interface while measuring task success, friction, and failure.
UserTesting helped Tealium validate an accordion-style menu, refine the product’s taxonomy, and test the experience in-context with real users. The results were strong: task success improved by 8% and failure rates dropped 14% versus the production UI, visual perception scores rose across key metrics, and information architecture testing increased success from 8% to 29% with 48% first-click accuracy.
