A User Vision Case Study
Registers of Scotland (RoS) sought to improve the inclusivity of its digital services by better understanding the real-world experience of users with disabilities who rely on assistive technologies. They partnered with the vendor User Vision to conduct usability testing that would identify barriers on their public website.
User Vision executed a series of moderated usability testing sessions with participants from three key disability groups, who used their own assistive technologies to complete tasks. The research provided RoS with direct insight into user challenges, leading to significant accessibility improvements. As a result, User Vision helped RoS empower more users to complete land and property tasks independently, enhancing the experience for all customers.
