PSEG Long Island, an electric utility serving more than 1.1 million customers, wanted to rebrand and tailor its HPwES program to the local market after taking ownership in 2016. The utility needed to reduce administrative burden for its 20 contractors, improve contractor and customer satisfaction, and do it quickly without a major system overhaul.

Uplight implemented its Workflow Automation Software (WFA), creating a single system of record and web-based portal for audit and contract programs, with role-based access and easy data integration. The results included 5,400 hours saved annually, a 20% increase in audit-to-retrofit conversion, and 90% of contractors reporting improved efficiency; contractor admin time over one hour per project dropped from 67% to 20%.
