British American Tobacco (South Africa) needed a new contract management solution after a failed deployment of another system. Updraft was brought in to help with legal drafting and management solutions for BAT’s contract processes.

Updraft implemented drafting automation and lifecycle management for BAT’s core company precedents, including compliance packs and reporting. Its legal and implementation team also analysed and uploaded hundreds of historical contracts while capturing key reporting and business data, and BAT said Updraft was far superior to any legal software solution they had used or tested before.
