Travancore Analytics partnered with Unity to help Virtual Forklift modernize forklift operator training. The customer needed a safer, more efficient alternative to traditional hands-on training, which exposed learners and instructors to accident risk, equipment damage, and inconsistent training quality. Their earlier third-party VR solution also suffered from visual artifacts, performance issues, and motion-sickness concerns.

Using Unity tools for Industry, Travancore Analytics built a custom VR forklift simulator for the HTC Vive with realistic warehouse scenarios, real-time collaboration, and an admin portal for managing users and training data. Unity features such as HDRP, NavMesh AI, the New Input System, physics simulations, Addressables, and AssetBundles helped deliver a more immersive and maintainable experience. The result was a 20% increase in learner engagement and satisfaction, a 75% reduction in training duration, and a substantial drop in accident-related costs.
