Ludia Games, a major game developer owned by Jam City and based in Montreal, Canada, wanted to improve monetization for Jurassic World Alive without hurting retention. Working with Unity’s LevelPlay product, the team looked for a data-driven way to test new ad placements because their existing rewarded video setup had low engagement.
Unity helped Ludia Games use LevelPlay’s A/B testing and placement tracking to add and evaluate three new traffic drivers against a control group. After rolling out the winning strategy, Ludia increased ARPDAU by 255% and quadrupled ad revenue, while retention also improved by 24%.
