Game Hive uses Ad Quality by ironSource to monitor bad UX and track creative trends

Game Hive, a pioneer mobile game developer behind franchises like Tap Titans and Beat the Boss, needed a better way to monitor ads across multiple networks, identify bad UX, and understand which creatives were impacting player experience and retention. Working with Unity’s Ad Quality by ironSource, the team sought a unified view of ad creatives and more visibility into complaints, churn, and competitor ads served in its games.

Using Unity’s Ad Quality solution, Game Hive gained a gallery-style creative overview, user journey tracking, churn reporting, and performance metrics like impressions, CPMs, and QCTR. As a result, the team could detect auto-clicking, redirects, misleading or inappropriate ads, resolve player complaints faster, proactively block low-quality ads, and make better creative decisions for UA teams—leading to stronger performance, improved player experience, and better retention decisions.
