Error-free maintenance and on-the-job training with AR

Taqtile, an industrial AR and XR software company, needed a faster way to capture expert knowledge, train frontline workers, and reduce errors on complex maintenance tasks across manufacturing, transportation, and government environments. Its challenge was to help more employees complete specialized work without requiring deep technical expertise, while improving speed and consistency in training and execution.

Using Unity, Taqtile built its Manifest AR solution to digitally capture step-by-step work instructions and deliver them through devices including Microsoft HoloLens, Magic Leap One, HTC Vive, iPad, and web browsers. Unity helped Taqtile bring the product to market faster and with more flexibility, while customers saw clear gains: reduced skills gaps, faster task completion, fewer or even eliminated errors, and improved training outcomes, including significant maintenance and repair improvements reported by the U.S. Air Force.
