East Side Games, a Vancouver-based mobile games company, needed a faster, more scalable way to manage monetization for Bud Farm. Their manual waterfall setup involved 20 to 25 ad instances and took too much time to optimize, especially across non-U.S. markets. To address this, they turned to Unity’s LevelPlay in-app bidding solution.
Unity helped East Side Games implement and A/B test a hybrid bidding-and-waterfall setup with LevelPlay, making onboarding and troubleshooting straightforward. The results were strong: ARPDAU increased by 39% on iOS and 60% on Android, with improved performance across both bidding and non-bidding networks.
