The Co-operative Bank partnered with Unisys to address a major business challenge: capturing the new generation of customers and doubling customer numbers over five years. To support this goal, the bank needed to modernize its IT environment while preserving the security and performance of its existing core systems, using solutions such as ClearPath Forward and e-Portal.

Unisys implemented an IT infrastructure transformation strategy that included ClearPath Forward systems and services, EMC high-end storage, and e-Portal integration between the bank’s mobile app and core banking application. As a result, The Co-operative Bank increased net new customers and share of wallet, gained the ability to scale systems with business growth, and became better prepared to launch new workloads and services to meet future customer needs.
