A Uniphore Case Study
Pandora, the music streaming service and subsidiary of SiriusXM, wanted to accelerate subscriber growth and retention by making better use of its vast first-party listening data. However, its customer data was spread across disconnected systems, legacy martech tools like Adobe Marketing Cloud were too rigid for Pandora’s scale, and marketers were stuck relying on technical teams for audience and campaign work. Pandora turned to Uniphore’s ActionIQ customer data platform (CDP) to create a more unified, scalable data foundation.
Uniphore, through ActionIQ, implemented a phased CDP rollout that centralized audience data, enabled marketer self-service, automated suppression lists and channel integrations, and reduced reliance on manual SQL-driven processes. Within 90 days of go-live, Pandora had 25+ team members onboarded, 1.5B+ customer activations per day, 80+ automated suppression lists and holdouts, 15+ channels/endpoints integrated, and 30B+ rows of customer data ingested daily. The result was a 50% reduction in CAC in key segments and a foundation for real-time personalization use cases such as cart abandonment, welcome journeys, and churn prevention.
