Dinse-Gellin Elektro GbR, a long-established electrical services provider, needed to replace its aging HiPath 3000 phone system while avoiding disruption to customer access and reusing existing equipment. Key requirements included click-to-dial from the customer database, reliable integrated voicemail so no calls were lost, mobile access for staff across the premises, simple installation, low training overhead and scalability for future growth.

Working with Unify partner midiKom, Dinse-Gellin deployed OpenScape Business, reusing existing DECT handsets and adding 40 OpenStage phones; the cutover was completed in a single day. The result is unified communications with click-to-dial, dependable voicemail, Smart UC mobile access and an intuitive PC interface that required minimal training—preserving prior investments, eliminating missed calls and enhancing customer service while supporting future expansion.
