MyFitnessPal, a company providing fitness and calorie-tracking apps in 15 languages, faced the challenge of localizing its extensive customer support content. Their knowledge bases and FAQs were not translated, creating a barrier for non-English speaking users. To address this, they partnered with Unbabel to translate their help articles.

Using the Unbabel API, MyFitnessPal automated the translation and deployment of its help content into five languages, including Spanish and French. This solution led to a 20% decrease in support cases and a 50% increase in customer satisfaction for the first language tested. Overall, Unbabel helped translate 180,000 words, resulting in $18,000 in savings.
