Vakıf Katılım maintains focus on customer service with RPA

Vakıf Katılım, a young, technology-focused participation bank in Turkey, faced rapidly growing volumes of routine, error-prone transactions across departments (HR, Credit, Reporting, etc.) that threatened customer service levels. To maintain service quality and boost operational efficiency, the bank chose UiPath’s RPA and hyperautomation platform and trained staff as automation architects to accelerate adoption.

UiPath implemented software robots (including the bank’s “HeRobot”) and embedded OCR across processes, enabling departments to build automations themselves and scale faster with IT support for larger projects. The results were immediate and measurable: more than 600 hours saved per month, a 75% reduction in credit allocation time, letters of indemnity cut from two days to 2–3 hours with a 60% efficiency gain, and HR savings equivalent to two workdays per month—while reducing errors, removing overtime, and improving employee productivity.
