UiPath has enabled Health Fidelity to grow its customer base without adding document extraction employees—while successfully extracting over 1.2 million records for its clients

Health Fidelity, a provider of risk‑adjustment solutions for Medicare Advantage, ACA, Medicaid and ACO programs, faced costly, slow and error‑prone manual extraction of clinical charts from diverse EMRs (including Citrix‑based systems), creating bottlenecks, HIPAA risk, and incomplete patient records. After evaluating options, Health Fidelity chose the UiPath Enterprise RPA Platform to enable HIPAA‑compliant automated extraction with minimal client IT involvement.

Using UiPath robots to log into EMRs, locate patients, scrape and filter documents, and generate PDFs with metadata, Health Fidelity scaled from an initial 3–4 Robots to 14 Robots processing about 200 charts per day. UiPath automation has enabled extraction of more than 1.2 million clinical documents to date, letting Health Fidelity grow its customer base without adding document‑extraction staff while improving data quality, compliance, speed, and overall risk‑adjustment performance.
