Vanguard Healthcare, a community care provider in Singapore, was facing growing operational pressure as staff spent extra hours on repetitive, paperwork-heavy work across HR, Finance, Procurement, and patient information management. To address these challenges, the organization chose UiPath and its automation platform to help reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and support round-the-clock healthcare operations.
UiPath implemented multiple bots to automate overtime claim processing, invoice formatting and printing, and patient information logging during system downtime. The results included a dramatic reduction in overtime submission processing time from four hours to just a few minutes, faster lead times by up to 800x, and potential cost savings of 20x versus a proposed manual process. The automation was successful enough that Vanguard Healthcare planned to scale to 40 to 50 bots by 2024, with UiPath Orchestrator identified as a key next step for managing the growing bot workforce.
