Transforming efficiency experiments into enterprise fit automation at Bristol Water

Bristol Water, a UK water utility serving 1.2 million people, wanted to improve efficiency but needed a low-cost way to prove the value of automation across many small, varied processes. **UiPath** helped the team start with accessible robotic process automation (RPA), including an attended robot and free training through UiPath Academy, so Bristol Water could experiment without a large upfront enterprise case.

With **UiPath** and partner Tquila Automation, Bristol Water built a center of excellence and deployed robots to automate invoice processing, GDPR data deletion, and other operational tasks. The company now has 5 software robots automating 14 processes, with 6 more in the pipeline, handling about 14,000 invoices a year and delivering the equivalent of 6 full-time staff back to the business while scaling work without adding cost.
