The Regional Authority of the Moravian-Silesian Region saves 8,000 hours per year thanks to the introduction of RPA

The Regional Authority of the Moravian‑Silesian Region, which provides public services to 1.2 million residents, faced a heavy volume of manual, repetitive work in processing free boiler grant applications that required temporary staff and overtime. To tackle this, the authority evaluated and adopted UiPath’s RPA Enterprise Platform to automate application validation, duplication checks, status updates and other routine digital tasks.

Working with implementation partner Techstra, UiPath robots were deployed across the subsidy agenda—13 processes automated within months—freeing staff from repetitive tasks and saving more than 8,000 hours per year. The UiPath solution improved service quality, contributed to regional awards for excellence, and set up further automation plans (including registry office mail handling) with projected additional annual savings of CZK 500,000.
