The Orange Robot Factory leverages RPA to fulfil CEO’s vision for business transformation

Orange Robot Factory, the automation initiative of Orange Spain, faced the challenge of transforming a large telecom operation into a more digital, agile and human-centric business by removing repetitive, low-value work and democratizing automation across the company. Backed by the CEO’s vision, the Factory chose the UiPath RPA platform (and UiPath Academy for training) to scale robotic process automation enterprise-wide and engage employees in building and requesting robots.

Using UiPath technology and training, the Orange Robot Factory built an internal “robot factory” operating model that trained staff, launched one robot per week, and scaled to 400+ robots with 100 RPA ambassadors and 250 UiPath‑certified employees. The UiPath-powered rollout automated millions of interactions (2+ million in the first six months), cut tasks from 1.5 hours to 2 minutes, enabled 24/7 customer service, and delivered more than €34 million in savings.
