A UiPath Case Study

Preview of the The Bank of East Asia, Limited Case Study

The Bank of East Asia saves countless hours by adopting UiPath automations

The Bank of East Asia, Limited (BEA), a Hong Kong-based financial services group, needed to streamline repetitive internal and customer-facing processes across multiple banking workflows, including card maintenance and UAT setup for its corporate cyberbanking system. To support faster, more responsive service and better risk control, BEA turned to UiPath and its automation platform.

UiPath implemented attended robots to help move data between systems where APIs were not yet available, enhancing BEA’s internal workflow management system and automating UAT test data creation. The results were significant: BEA reported more than 553,000 aggregated hours of processing time saved, 77 attended processes in use, and 29,000 hours saved per year, while one UAT setup task dropped from 20 minutes to just 1 minute.
