Sydbank opens the door to digital transformation

Sydbank, a mid-sized bank operating in Denmark and northern Germany, wanted to move beyond isolated automation projects and build real digital maturity across the business. Working with UiPath and its low-code/no-code automation tools, the bank set out to help employees understand and embrace digital transformation while reducing manual work in operations.

UiPath helped Sydbank scale automation with more than 100 software robots and 15 citizen developers, supported by training and best-practice guidance. The result was about 15% of operations automated and more than 850 hours of work saved each week, while key processes such as community bank account administration were completed far faster and with fewer errors.
