RPA streamlines and improves software testing for IMDI

IMDI, the Norwegian Directorate of Integration and Diversity, was struggling with slow, highly manual software testing that stretched agile sprints from four weeks to six. Working with UiPath, it looked for a way to improve regression testing and support faster, more reliable software delivery using RPA.

UiPath implemented robotic process automation for test preparation, test data handling, and regression testing, including synthetic test data and automated pipelines through UiPath Test Manager, Orchestrator, and Azure DevOps. The results were significant: regression testing time dropped from up to three days to around one day, test quality improved, and IMDI set a goal to automate 80% of its regression testing.
