RPA helps Länsförsäkringar Stockholm towards becoming Stockholm’s ‘most liked local business’

Lansforsakringar (Länsförsäkringar Stockholm) is a customer‑owned insurance group aiming to become “Stockholm’s most liked local business” by improving customer experience. Faced with slow, manual claims processing and legacy systems with no APIs, the company turned to UiPath Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to streamline data movement across multiple systems and speed up customer‑facing processes.

UiPath, working with implementation partner AKOA, built a small proof of concept and then a Centre of Excellence to scale automation—using front‑end robots to transfer data between a new BPM system and the legacy claims engine. The UiPath solution has automated about 40 processes, returned 2–3 days of work per automated process, and increased the speed and accuracy of claims handling, freeing staff to focus on higher‑value work.
