RPA Frees Up to 25 Hours a Week Improving Customer Experience for Encova Insurance

Encova Insurance, a Columbus-based carrier representing more than 4,000 independent agents across 21 states, needed to digitize post‑merger operations and eliminate tedious, paper‑heavy tasks that required employees to spend half‑day shifts identifying at‑risk policies. To automate agent account notifications and customer retention work, Encova partnered with UiPath, using Orchestrator and Unattended Robots to address slow data transfers between legacy systems and reduce manual effort.

UiPath built an RPA proof of concept that pulls data from multiple sites, identifies accounts at risk of cancellation, and emails agents with clear retention steps; the solution has since expanded to automate 12 processes with 3 production robots, processing 30,000+ transactions and freeing up to 25 hours per week so reps can focus on customer experience. Encova reports broad employee adoption of the bots and is working with UiPath to pursue additional intelligent automation use cases.
