Robotic Process Automation working for Schneider Electric's Global Supply Chain

Schneider Electric, the leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, needed to streamline its global supply chain and eliminate repetitive, time‑consuming tasks so employees could refocus on higher‑value work. As part of its TSC 4.0 strategy in EMEA, Schneider Electric engaged UiPath to deploy Robotic Process Automation (RPA) across plants and distribution centres to standardise processes and accelerate digitalisation.

UiPath delivered RPA bots to handle routine document preparation and order processing: a document‑printing robot (built in two days) freed two employees from tedious prep work, and an order‑processing bot using a generic mailbox reduced processing time from four hours to two minutes while surfacing errors faster. UiPath also provided hypercare, helped standardise upstream processes, and supplied training materials used by Schneider Electric’s Global Supply Chain Academy, enabling scalable deployment through a Centre of Excellence and measurable productivity and response‑time improvements.
