PwC Unlocks the Keys to True Digital Transformation

PwC, a global network of professional services firms, set out to reshape its workforce for the digital age and address widespread gaps in digital skills. Beginning in 2017, PwC launched a global upskilling program to train more than 276,000 employees to build automations and selected UiPath’s RPA and Analytic Process Automation platform as a core technology to enable citizen-led innovation and reduce repetitive, rules-based work.

UiPath provided the RPA platform and tooling that PwC paired with training and a “citizen-led” approach, rolling RPA out to 50,000+ employees in the US and Mexico and expanding globally. The implementation automated more than 5 million hours of non-value-added work, contributed to a $500M+ measurable impact, increased productivity and reduced operational costs (notably in the tax group), and helped create a more digitally savvy workforce.
