KUKA, the global manufacturer of intelligent automation solutions, wanted to reduce manual, repetitive work across its internal operations and improve data quality and process efficiency. To do this, it turned to UiPath and its robotic process automation (RPA) platform to support tasks in ERP, CRM, accounting, customer service, HR, and IT.

Using UiPath, KUKA automated more than 50 internal software processes, including internal spare parts order handling and data migration during its SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA upgrade. The results included 95% of internal spare parts orders automated and 18 work days saved on one migration project, while also reducing errors, improving data quality, and enabling faster temporary integrations between systems.
