Patelco Credit Union Automates Home Loan Tasks so Humans Can Care for Members

Patelco Credit Union, a North America banking and financial services cooperative, faced longer home loan processing times as demand for new home loans and refinancing increased. To address the bottleneck and free staff to focus more on member service, Patelco worked with UiPath and its partner Digital Align to automate parts of its loan origination workflow using UiPath RPA.

UiPath and Digital Align implemented 35 automated loan processes in five months, including tasks like ordering titles and appraisals, validating loan data, processing checklists, and running fraud checks. Since May 2021, the bots have completed 60,636 processes and 909,000 tasks with a 94% success rate, improving loan processing speed and quality while reducing manual data entry and helping Patelco team members spend more time serving members.
