MyState Bank super charges automation journey with RPA

MyState Bank, an Australia-based financial services provider, wanted to become more digitally enabled to improve customer experience, reduce costs and errors, and maintain compliance. Working with UiPath, the bank began its automation journey with a pilot using UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Robots to test robotic process automation (RPA) on repetitive back-office tasks.

UiPath helped MyState Bank expand from that initial pilot to more than 20 automated processes across seven business areas, using unattended bots and the UiPath Platform. One early payment-reimbursement process was reduced from up to four days to same day, and the bank reports an average savings of 435 hours per month across the business. UiPath also supported secure, governed automation adoption and upskilling through UiPath Academy, with all internal staff working on the platform becoming UiPath certified.
