MyEyeDr., a fast-growing healthcare and retail vision care provider in North America, struggled to integrate systems and processes across acquisitions. Because many optometry software platforms lacked APIs and flexible integration options, the company needed a way to bridge disconnected systems and support rapid growth without relying on heavy custom development. UiPath and robotic process automation (RPA) became key tools in addressing this challenge.

UiPath implemented automation to act as a “gap-filler” across revenue cycle and claims operations, including cash application, provider credentialing, and claims movement. The results were significant: MyEyeDr. processed $186 million in remittances in a single year, retained $6.9 million in eyewear claim revenue in 2022, saved $310,000 in payroll through automated claims movement, and was able to complete mergers in 60 days or less.
