More than 250,000 individual transactions automated and the journey of automation continues

Soluvia Energy Services GmbH (SES), part of the MVV Group in Germany, provides shared services for metering, billing, and customer service across more than 900,000 metering points and 715,000 customers. As its digitalization strategy progressed, SES saw many repetitive, manual processes and new tasks driven by changing legal requirements that were well suited to automation. UiPath’s AI-Powered Business Automation platform was used to help identify and launch these opportunities.

UiPath implemented RPA across SES’s operations, starting with customer service processes such as meter reading and installment payment entry, and then expanding to a broad automation program with cronos automation GmbH as IT partner. The results included more than 250,000 individual transactions automated per year across 80+ processes, improved quality, efficiency, and transparency, and a rapid return on investment with an average amortization period of less than one year. SES is continuing to scale automation, with 25 more processes in realization and another 25 planned.
