Making work better for healthcare practitioners with RPA

InHealth, the UK’s largest specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions, wanted to improve the employee experience for its shared services teams and reduce the time staff spent on repetitive administrative work. Working with UiPath, the company began an automation journey to streamline tasks across HR, finance, legal, procurement, and onboarding.

UiPath’s RPA software helped InHealth automate staff onboarding first, then expand into billing, VAT applications, and IRIS software management. The results were significant: manual processing time dropped by more than three hours per candidate in the first week, human errors were eliminated, and by May 2022 InHealth had automated 17 processes and saved nearly 21,000 hours, with a projected 42,000 hours saved by December 2022.
