A UiPath Case Study
Maitland Group, a global advisory, administration and family office firm, faced significant strain from error-prone manual calculations and data-migration tasks that consumed accountants’ time and risked NAV accuracy for hundreds of funds. To improve accuracy, speed and employee experience, Maitland turned to UiPath and its RPA Enterprise Platform, working with implementation partner LarcAl to pilot and scale robotic process automation.
Using UiPath, Maitland set up an RPA Centre of Excellence and automated 59 processes (equivalent to 12 full‑time employees), automating preliminary NAV functions for 500 of 700 funds so that 80% of the work is completed before accountants arrive. The UiPath solution delivered 100% NAV validation focus, earlier delivery before market deadlines, reduced risk, higher staff morale, and a scalable cadence of about 12–15 automations per month across finance and other regions.
